Built by: Dobson Pipe Organ Builders (opus 76) and Rosales Organ Builders (2006)
The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia was built to a design by Rafael Viñoly. In the main hall, called Verizon Hall, with room for 2500 visitors, a large organ has been built by Dobson Organ Company. The construction was carried out in collaboration with Manuel J. Rosales. The organ was built from the summer of 2005, after which it was voiced and tuned. On 11 May 2006 it was opened with a concert by Olivier Latry.
