Het Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia is ontworpen door Rafael Viñoly. In the grote concertzaal, met de naam Verizon Hall, is plaats voor 2500 bezoeker. Er is een groot concertorgel voor deze zaal gebouwd door de Dobson Organ Company, opus 76 van de firma. De werkzaamheden werden gezamenlijk uitgevoerd met Manuel J. Rosales. De opbouw van het instrument startte in de zomer van 2005, waarna het is geïntoneerd en gestemd. Op 11 mei 2006 werd het orgel in gebruik genomen met een concert door Olivier Latry.
