Built by: Jacques Besançon (1776)
Jacques Besançon built a new organ in Saint-Ursanne in 1776, replacing the organ of J.B. Valtrin from 1749. In 1879 and 1941 the instrument was restored by the Geneva company Tschanun. During this restoration several reeds were replaced by labials: on the Grand-Orgue a Voix Humaine 8' by a Bourdon 4', on the Positif a Cromorne 8' by a Viole 8' and on the pedal a Trompette 8' (probably) by a Viole de Basse 8'. In 1984 the organ was restored by Hans Füglister. A last restoration took place in 2004 by Bertrand Cattiaux.
