2016 Lenter Orgelbau  new organ in old case

  • The organ in the Lutherkirche in Fellbach was originally built by Johann Jakob Weinmar in 1779-1780 with 22 registers. It is located in the choir of the church. The interior of this organ was replaced in 1911 by a new pneumatic organ by Walcker with 34 stops.
  • In 1969, the Walcker company built another new organ in the old case with 37 stops. Walter Supper was consultant in collaboration with Herbert Liedecke. This organ was dedicated on December 21, 1969. In 1986 the organ was overhauled, with the Klarine 4' of the pedal replaced by a Trompete 8', and the Terzsept of the Schwellwerk modified to a Terz 1 3/5'. A new setzer was also installed.
  • The Lenter company built a new organ in the old casess in 2015-2016, with 29 stops. Consultant was Christoph Bossert. The design sought to match the construction period of the organ case. A Hinterwerk has been added with a number of stops that are more typical of early Romanticism. On November 27, 2016, the first Sunday of Advent, the new organ was dedicated. The official inauguration of the organ was later, on Easter Monday 2017, April 17. It was played on this occasion by Christoph Bossert.
