The organ in the church of Bachte-Maria-Leerne was built in 1880 by Jan Vergaert from Ghent. The instrument was a gift to the church from Baron T'Kind de Roodenbeke. Almost all of the pipework was removed by the company Jos. Loncke. They used the material to build a small choir organ in the church.
