- In 1749 Tobias Schramm built a small organ for the Hofkirche in Dresden. The instrument was transferred three years later to the Schlosskirche of the Hubertusburg in Wermsdorf. It was not modified during the transfer, but the organ case was painted in different colors. The instrument remained without modifications after this.
- In 1917 the prospect pipes were removed, which were replaced by zinc ones in 1926. After 1945 the castle was looted. The organ was severely damaged and large parts of the mechanism, the claviature and the pipework were completely destroyed. The organ was reconstructed by Hermann Eule on the basis of some remnants of the mechanism, the heavily damaged organ case and 23 pipes that were still found. Restoration was completed in 2001.
