The choir organ in the monastery church of Weingarten is originally from the seventeenth century. Gabler rebuilt it in the eighteenth century, after which it was also almost completely renovated in 1867. In 1934-1937 the company Reiser converted it to a pure electric action. Father Ellerhorst was the advisor for these activities. In 2012 the organ was restored by the company H. Späth. The existing situation was the starting point for this restoration. There was not enough original material available for a reconstruction to 1742. On November 11, 2012, the organ was put back into use.
