- The Heilig-Kruiskerk (Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Cross) in Amersfoort was built following a design of the architect Van Wissen, and was dedicated in 1958. There was no money to buy a new pipe organ. A second-hand organ was purchased through Adema. It came from a Gereformeerde Kerk (Reformed Church) in Huizen, Noord-Holland. This old Reformed Church on the Kerkstraat in Huizen was built in 1920. J. Tromp delivered the organ in 1924. The church building was demolished in 1958 and replaced by a new church on the Naarderstraat, the current Kruiskerk. In the past it was thought that the organ came from Huissen in Gelderland, but that turned out to be incorrect.
- The firm Adema overhauled the organ in 1958, modified its stop list and rebuilt it in Amersfoort. The work was completed in September 1958. The Aeoline 8' was shortened to a Quint 2 2/3', the Gamba 8' to an Octave 2'. Furthermore Adema installed an independent pedal, where the Bourdon 16' of the first manual was placed, as well as an Open bass. Finally, a few new stops were added to the organ.
- A restoration by the Elbertse company took place in the years 1975/1976. On May 7, 1976 it could be used again. The organ was in very poor condition in 2008, and was no longer maintained. Instead, an electronic Van der Poel organ has been purchased. The organ was demolished at the end of September 2013. The pipe work was sold in 2014 as a fundraising campaign for the renovation of the meeting space of the church.
- The church itself will almost certainly be closed in 2021.
