  • The organ of the Oude Kerk in Aalten was built in an existing old organ case. The main case was already built in 1759 by an unknown Westphalian builder. In 1811 Jacobus Ambrost rebuilt the instrument, expanding it with a positive in the gallery. In 1940 Spanjaard made a new electro-pneumatic organ in the old cases. The existing main case was made larger and the white paint was removed from the woodwork. About 30% of the old pipework has been preserved. It was inaugurated on November 9, 1940 with a concert by Sjoerd Mook, the permanent organist of the church and also consultant during the rebuild.
  • This organ was short-lived: in 1976 Blank completed a new mechanical organ in a classical style with three manuals in the existing historic casements. The pedal was placed in a separate case behind the organ, while the echo positive is located below the main work, just behind the manuals. Willem Retze Talsma was consultant, and he also played the inaugural concert on April 8, 1976. In 1979 Blank placed the Regal on the Echo-Positive. The only old register of the organ is the Bazuin of the pedal, which dates from 1811.

Van 't Kruijs (1885) Het Orgel in de Hervormde Kerk te Aalten heeft 24 sprekende stemmen, twee klavieren, vrij pedaal. Blijkbaar is dit orgel zeer oud, maker en jaartal niet meer bekend.
