The organ contains older material: Facade from 1877 by Salomon Molander
In 1877 Salomon Molander built an organ with twelve stops for Landskyrkan in Alingsås. The instrument was converted and expanded in 1907 by Anders Loocrantz, and in 1944 by Nordfors & Co. After this it had seventeen registers. In 1965 Magnusson built a new organ behind the facade from 1877 with sixteen stop. The instrument was renovated by Karl Nelson in 2001. The Koppelflöjt 4' of the Huvudverk was replaced by a Principal 8'. On the Svällverk the Sifflöjt 1' was removed, and the Sesquialtera was split into a separate Kvinta and Ters.
