- In the years 1988-1989 Leopold Lombaerts built an organ for the chapel of the cloister of the Sisters from the Sacred Heart of Mary in Berlaar. The basis of the instrument was the old organ of this chapel. This was originally built in 1893 by James J. Binns & Co. for the Anglican Church in Ghent. After it became redundant here, it was dismantled by the Jos company. Stevens. In 1948 it was placed in largely modified form in the chapel in Berlaar. It was put into use on March 25, 1949. The organ was dedicated on May 1, 1949, after which Edgard De Laet gave a concert. Over time, this organ had fallen into poor condition. Lombaerts therefore built a technically completely new organ, with a number of new registers.
- After the monastery closed, the organ was sold to the parish in Begijnendijk. Here it replaced a unit organ by Loncke from 1955. The instrument was renovated and transferred by Stefan Claessens. It was inaugurated on October 8, 2023 with a concert by Koen Van Damme.
