The organ in the church of Letterhoutem was installed in 1946 by Alfons Joris. It stands in its entirety in a swell box. The pipework is much older, dating from the mid-nineteenth century. It would have been acquired from a church in the Ardennes. The church in Letterhoutem was built in 1940 to a design by Adrien Bressers. The previous church building had been destroyed by fire in 1936.
