- Hill, Norman & Beard bouwde in 1934 een theaterorgel voor het Granada Theatre in Maidstone in Kent, Engeland. Het instrument werd ontworpen door Harold Ramsay. Het orgel werd geleverd onder de naam Christie Unit Organ als opus 2911. Het had acht stamregisters, waarvan de dispositie was afgeleid, en veel effect- en percussieregisters. Alex Taylor speelde het openingsconcert. Door wateroverlast in 1968 raakte de speeltafel onherstelbaar beschadigd. Het orgel is daarna afgebroken en te koop aangeboden.
- Het werd verkocht aan de Theatre Organ Society of Australia, die het na een restauratie in 1973 liet plaatsen in het nieuwe auditorium van het Kelvin Grove State College in Brisbane. Een speeltafel kon worden overgenomen van een particulier. Het betrof een originele Christie-speeltafel uit 1929 van opus 2714, gebouwd door het Empire Theatre in Dunedin, Nieuw-Zeeland. Het orgel werd op 24 november 1975 officieel in gebruik genomen met een concert door Tony Fenelon.
- In 1998 was een revisie nodig. De werkzaamheden waren in 2001 afgerond. De dispositie is ook uitgebreid met een Clarinet, een Orchestral Oboe en Solo Strings. Het heeft sindsdien elf stamregisters. Op 13 april 2001 is het orgel weer in gebruik genomen.
