The organ contains older material: Organ case and pipes from 1872 by Åkerman & Lund
Åkerman & Lund built a new organ for Söderfors Kyrka in 1933, which replaced an organ from the same firm from 1872. The organ case and a number of registers were taken over from the previous organ. In 1989 the organ was restored by Gunnar Carlsson. He changed the disposition on this occasion. The Gamba 8' of the first manual was replaced by a Gedacktflöjt 4'. On the second manual the Borduna 16' was replaced by a Principal 2'. Both pedal transmissions have also been modified.
