Braunton Church had an organ dating back to a 1799 Green & Blyth instrument built for Saint Michael's Church in Helston, Cornwall. This organ was placed in Braunton around 1912. By J.W. Walker it was rebuilt in 1927. In July 2003 a fire broke out in the church, destroying part of the interior. The organ was badly damaged. A new organ was completed in 2006 by Michael Farley. Still usable material from the old organ has been reused, as well as Norman & Beard pipework from 1893, from a demolished organ from Lympstone.
