2014 Sotkamon Urkurakentajat  restoration

  • In 1879 Jens Alexander Zachariassen built a new organ for Liperin Kirkko (in Swedish Libelits Kyrka). The instrument was dedicated on November 9, 1879. Lauri Hämäläinen examined the organ on October 11, 1879. It has sixteen stops on two manuals and pedal.
  • Hans Heinrich carried out a restoration in 1980. He installed a new wind motor and changed the composition of the Mixtur. This was originally 1-3 fach (2'), but now became 2-4 fach (1 1/3').
  • The organ was restored in 2013-2014 by Sotkamon Urkurakentajat. During these works, the original Mixtur has been reconstructed.
