The organ in the Church of St. James in Česká Kamenice was built in 1754 by Johann Gottlieb Tamitius from Zittau. In 1856 and 1857 Antonín Dvorák was interim organist here. In 1924 and 1938 the disposition of the second manual was changed and new bellows were installed. In 1995 major maintenance was carried out by Kubát and Filipek. The organ has a freestanding console.
