  • The organ at First United Methodist Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan, was built in 1940 for the then-new church by W.W. Kimball Company. A large organ was designed, but a much smaller instrument could be completed initially. The organ was completed by the Reuter Organ Company in 1958. Five ranks of Kimball were replaced, and the prepared stops were installed largely according to the original plan.
  • In 1988 the console was renewed by Reuter. In 1990 the same company modified the organ, adapting the physical arrangement of the divisions. The stop list has not been altered. Only the Great Trumpet 8' has been renewed on this occasion.
