  • S:t Johanneskyrkan in Gothenburg was dedicated on July 8, 1866. It is a Gothic-style building with copper roofs. The church served as a sailor's church, but from 1893 also as a parish church for the Masthugget district. In 1996 the church building was transferred to the city mission.
  • In the church there is an organ from 1965, built by Olof Hammarberg. It is a two manual organ with 22 registers. It replaced a 1906 Thorsell & Erikson organ with nineteen stops. The church's first organ was built in 1873 by Johan Niklas Söderling. This organ had fourteen stops. It was transferred to Allerums Kyrka in 1906.
