  • The parish church of the village Kleit near Maldegem is designed in a gothic revival style by E. De Perre Montigny. The church was erected in the years 1858-1863. In 1949, the tower was struck by lightning. As a result, the organ was seriously damaged.
  • The actual organ of the church is a historical instrument, possibly dating from the seventeenth century. It comes from the decanal church of Dendermonde and is believed to have been built by Jan Van Loo from Aalst. In the windchest is an inscription from 1767, applied by Van Peteghem during a renovation.
