- In 1945, a new organ was installed in the chapel of the Burgerspital in Bern by the company Th. Khun AG. The instrument was inaugurated on September 25, 1945. It has sixteen stops on two manuals and pedal. On the original stop list, a Scharf 4 ranks was mentioned on the Positiv, but it seems that this stop has never been installed. Also the Mixture was mentioned as 4-6 ranks, but it seems that only a two-ranks Mixture was installed.
- In 2017, a restoration was necessary, because the instrument was polluted as a result of a restoration of the chapel. Thomas Wälti carried out this work, with Jürg Brunner as consultant. The original Suavial 4' (or Principal 4') from the second manual was shifted to become an 8'-feet stop. The Nazard 2 2/3' was shifted to a 1 1/3'-stop. Wälti replaced the Blockflöte 4' with a new Traversflöte. Three stops were added to the organ: a Nasat 2 2/3' on the Hauptwerk, a Oboe 8' to the Positiv and a Fagott 16' to the pedal. The Rohrflöte 4' of the Pedal was removed.
