  • The Plaza Theatre in El Paso opened in 1928, and a new pipe organ was installed in 1930 by the Wurlitzer Company as their opus 2123. The organ has 15 ranks. In 1972, it was removed from the building and sold in 1973 to a private collector in Dallas, Texas. But in 1998, the organ could be bought back for El Paso, thanks to the El Paso Community Foundation, who is the current owner of the instrument. The organ was restored by the Visser-Rowland Association in 1998 and installed in the Sunland Park Mall in El Paso in april 1998.
  • After a restoration of the building of the Plaza Theatre, the organ was restored by Grahame Davis (Pipe Organ Artisans of Arizona) in 2005-2006 and re-installed on its original location. The organ could be inaugurated in the spring of 2006.
