In 1860, a new organ was installed in the Congregational Church in Marlborough, Connecticut, by William A. Johnson. The instrument was installed on the gallery above the entrance, but was relocated to the front of the church in 1898. In 1952, the church was renovated and the organ repainted in white. It has been replaced by an electronic instrument in 2003. The organ was sold to A. David Moore, who has dismantled and stored the instrument in North Pomfret, Vermont, in 2006.
