  • East Parish Church in Kilbarchan was built in 1929 as the second parish church in the town. The previous church was called West Parish Church since. However, in 2015, West Parish Church was closed and sold, and the name of the East Parish Church was modified to Parish Church. The concregation belongs to the Church of Scotland.
  • In 1960, a second hand organ was installed in the church by Blackett & Howden. This instrument had been built in 1898 by Forster & Andrews for the residence of C.M. Mann in Gourock. In 1975, a restoration has been carried out by M. MacDonald from Glasgow. He installed a Principal 4' and Fifteenth 2' on Great in stead of the original Dulciana 8' and Harmonic Flute 4'. Both ranks are historical material from Forster & Andrews, coming from the 1871 organ of the Blue Vale Church in Glasgow.
