- The organ of the Église Saint-Roch in Jehanster is a very old instrument, dating from about 1680. The original builder is not known. The instrument was built for the chapel of the Couvent de Récollets de Bolland. The monastry was enlarged in 1681, so maybe this is the year that the organ was constructed. In 1795 the cloister was closed. In 1804, the organ wsa transfered to the church of Hombourg.
- A Viola di Gambe was installed in the organ in 1866 by the company Gebr. Müller from Reifferscheidt. Reparations were carried out in 1868 by Heinrichs from Aachen. However, it was decided to replace the organ and in 1873 a new instrument by Pereboom & Leijser could be dedicated in Hombourg. This company transfered the old organ to the church of Saint-Roch in Jehanster, after a restoration. The wind chest was enlarged with five tones.
- In 1920 a plan was made for a new organ by Emile Kerkhoff, but this was not carried out. The Anneessens company completed the ranks of the Bourdon and the Flûte, and installed the Bourdon on its own wind chest. The organ had seven stops on the manual at this time. In 1970 a restoration was carried out by André Thomas under consultancy of abbé Nolens. The Tierce and the Fourniture were added. On June 27, 1970, Hubert Schoonbroodt played the inaugurational concert.
