The concregation of the Bridge Street African Wesleyan Methodist Church in Brooklyn goes back to 1766, when captain Thomas Webb started with open air meetings. The current church building was erected in 1938. Under consultancy of E. Bernard Walker, the organist of the church, a new organ was designed in 1966. This instrument was built in 1966-1967 by the Tellers Organ Company. It has three manuals and pedal.
