- In the newly built Maranathakerk (1966), Nobellaan 140 in Assen the old organ of the concregation from the former church had become too small. It was sold to Stadskanaal, and the company K.B. Blank & Zn. built a new instrument under consultancy of Hans Erné. He played the inauguration concert on June 28, 1973.
- The church is closed in 2020 and will be demolished. The last service has been on October 11, 2020. The organ was sold to the parish of Saint Anna in Merelbeke-Bottelare in Belgium. The company Reil overhauled the instrument and in 2021 it was installed in the church.
