In 2000 a large four-manual organ was built by Casavant Frères for the First Presbyterian Church in Tyler, Texas. The organ is the largest pipe organ in the east of Texas. Due to a fire that broke out in the church during renovation works in 2012 the organ was damaged. It had to be cleaned and revoiced, and the console was lost and had to be replaced. The new console, the cleaning and some technical renovation work was carried out by R.A. Colby, while the voicing and tuning was corrected by the Muller Organ Company. In 2013 the organ could be taken into use again.
