The organ in the vilage church of Small Hythe was built in 1886 by W.C. Mack. It is a small organ, and the pedal board originally had only thirteen keys (C-c°). In 1955 an electric blower was installed by F.H. Browne & Sons. The same company carried out some maintenance works in 1971. They also replaced the pedal board with a larger one with thirty keys (C-f') and renewed the Dulciana.
