- Saint Stephen's Church in Ponsonby is gebouwd in 1879, en de kerk werd in 1907 vergroot met transepten. In verband met de uitbreiding van het kerkgebouw liet men ook een nieuw orgel bouwen. Het werd in 1909 geleverd door de firma George Croft. In 1910 plaatsten zijn een laatste registers. Het orgel kreeg in 1928 een windmotor. In 1937 is de speeltafel verplaatst.
- De South Island Organ Company voerde in 2000 een restauratie uit.
