- George Allan ontwierp de Presbyterian Church in Hawthorn, die gebouwd is in 1891-1892. De firma Fincham & Hobday bouwde een orgel voor de kerk. Het werd gebouwd met twee klavieren en pedaal, maar er waren al voorzieningen getroffen voor een Choir Organ met zeven stemmen, inclusief het derde klavier in de speeltafel. Op 17 juli 1892 is het orgel in gebruik genomen.
- In 1923 is het orgel door Frederick Taylor herbouwd en werd ook het Choir Organ geplaatst. In de jaren 2001-2004 voerde de firma Wakeley een restauratie uit.
