De kerk van Saint Anne is in 1873 in gebruik genomen. In 1900 is het gebouw vergroot met een toren, noordertransept en een Lady Chapel. In 1886 plaatste de firma Alexander Young & Sons een orgel in de kerk. Dit instrument is nog altijd aanwezig, maar werd in 1934 herbouwd door de firma Rushworth & Dreaper en in 1999 gemoderniseerd en herbouwd door David Wells.
