The Church of the Assumption in Saint Paul was built in 1856-1874, making the building the oldest surviving church building in the city. In 1935 the Kimball-Welte company delivered a two-manual organ. The instrument was restored and expanded over time. In 2004 ten new stops were installed. A last restoration has been carried out in 2013 by the Bedient Organ Company.
