- Het orgel in de kerk van Saint Silas in Blackburn is gebouwd in 1904 door de firma Harrison & Harrison. Dezelfde firma reviseerde het instrument in 1925. In 1991 werd een restauratie uitgevoerd door J. Corkhill. De tractuur wijzigde hij in electropneumatiek en de samenstelling van de mixturen is gewijzigd.
- Het orgel werd in 2015-2016 gerestaureerd door David Wells. De tractuur is geheel vernieuwd, er zijn enkele registers geplaatst die nog altijd gereserveerd waren, en de koppelingen zijn uitgebreid. De nieuwe Flute 4' op Swell is geplaatst op de gereserveerde plek van een Vox Humana.
