- In 1868 bouwde James Nicholson een orgel voor de Methodist Church in Alston. Het had een manuaal en een vrij pedaal met twintig toetsen. Het orgel werd op 14 juni 1868 in gebruik genomen. F.C. Nicholson breidde het orgel in 1886 uit met een Swell Organ als tweede klavier, en de omvang van het pedaal werd vergroot naar dertig toetsen.
- Na sluiting van de kerk in 2006 is het orgel verkocht naar Duitsland.
