- Because the organ on the gallery of the parish church in Kelmis, built by Gebr. Müller in 1872 and rebuilt by Slootmaekers in 1927, was in an unplayable condition, a new organ was installed on the choir of the church in 1968 by Stephan Schumacher. It was dedicated on April 21, 1968, with a concert by Hubert Schoonbroodt, consultant. the organ had 24 stops on two manuals and pedal. It is located on the rear of the choir, on the floor of the church.
- In 1975 the prospect was modified by Schumacher. The straight lines of the side cases were replaced by beaming lines. In 1992 the Brustwerk was moved from the center to a location behind the left panel, to make the sound more in harmony with the rest of the organ. A renovation was carried out by Guido Schumacher in 1998.
