1905 Karl Gustav Wikström  new organ
2007 Jouko Pirkkanen  restoration

  • The beautiful mansion Visavuori was built by and for Emil Wikström. The first house from 1893-1894 was lost to fire in 1896. He then built a new house in 1902 with a separate studio in 1903. He used the site as a summer residence. In 1905 he had an organ built by his brother Karl Gustav Wikström. It was installed in the studio. In 1912 the organ moved to a newly built organ gallery.
  • The organ fell into disrepair after Wikström's death. The house became a museum in 1967. But the organ was only restored in 2006-2007 by Jouko Pirkkanen under the advice of Pentti Pelto.
