  • In 1926, the Casavant firm built a new organ for Saint James United Methodist Church in Chicago-Kenwood on South Ellis Avenue. This church replaced an older building, destroyed by fire in April 1924, which housed a 1915 Casavant organ. The new organ had a separate Echo Organ, which could be played from Great and Solo. Furthermore, a Chimes with 25 tubes and a Deagan Harp with 61 tones was placed. It was built with electro-pneumatic traction. It has been played with and maintained for years without any alterations.
  • In 2011, Saint James' Church was closed. The organ was disassembled, restored, cleaned and rebuilt in Saint John Cantius Church by the Casavant company in 2011. In the summer of 2013, Jeff Weiler performed a re-voicing in the new space. The organ was inaugurated on October 20, 2013.
  • Saint John Cantius Catholic Church is a large parish church in Chicago, which was built for the Polish community in the years 1893-1898. The Lower Church was inaugurated at Christmas 1893, and the large Upper Church was dedicated on December 11, 1898. The church building was designed by Adolphus Druiding. The previous organ of this church, built in 1922 by Geo. Kilgen & Son, was dismantled at the end of 2011.
