In 1697, two new organ cases were made for the Chiesa di Santa Maria in Vallicella by Francesco Maglia with wood carvings by Camillo Rosconi. The organ on the south side was an instrument by Giovanni Guglielmi from the sixteenth century. This was converted in 1698-1699 by Francesco Magli. In 1895-1897 the organ was rebuilt in a romantic style by Nicola Morettini, in connection with the 300th anniversary of the death of Santa Filippo Neri. Eligio Bevilacqua carried out a restoration in 1969.
