  • The Episcopal Cathedral in Philadelphia was built as the Episcopal Church of the Savior in 1855. After a major fire in 1902, the church has been rebuilt. An organ was installed that year by the Austin company. This instrument is still in use. But it was rebuilt and partly renovated in 1978 by Brantley A. Duddy. In conjunction with a radical modernization of the interior of the church, a renovation of the organ was carried out in 2002 by Robert Benston. In 2004 a freestanding console was placed on the church floor with two manuals, so that the organ can also be played from this location.
  • In 2020-2021 the organ was removed from the church, and a new organ was constructed by the company Emery Brothers. They used an organ by Möller (opus 6425 from 1936) as the base of a new organ, that was expanded with new and existing pipe work. The new Nave Organ, connected to the Chancel Organ, was built with much pipework from the Austin Organ of 1902-1903. The organ has been dedicated on October 24, 2021. It was played on this occasion by Tyrone Whiting, Jeffrey Brillhart and Clara Gerdes.
