- The Église Sainte-Marguérite in Tournai is an old church building, originally constructed in 1288. An organ was built for this church as early as 1538, by Guillaume Grave. However, the medieval church burned down on December 23, 1733. The old church was replaced by the current building in 1756-1760. There was no organ present for a long time. The first organ was built in 1856 by the company Merklin-Schütze. In 1898 it was expanded by the Delmotte company with a Trémolo and a Voix Céleste. Théophile Delmotte expanded the instrument in 1905 with an independent pedal. In 1907 he installed a Voix Humaine.
- The church building was closed in 1968, after the parish was merged with those of Saint-Quentin and Saint-Jacques. The organ remained in the church. After years of vacancy, new plans were started in 2004 for the use of the space by the Société Monument Hainaut. They did not succeed, and the church continued to deteriorate. In 2012 the church was sold to Gilles Courier. Plans were then made for the construction of apartments in the building, while preserving the exterior. This concept was designed by Michel Wiseur and was completed in 2016.
- The organ case was standing empty in the church in 2012. It is unknown what happened to the instrument.
