The main organ in the church of Sint-Maria-Oudenhove was built in 1786 by Pieter Van Peteghem. It originally had two manuals with eighteen registers, and no pedal. In 1891 the instrument was completely rebuilt by the Gebroeders Vereecken. A pneumatic organ was placed in the organ cases, and the disposition was radically modified. Only seven registers by Van Peteghem are still present.
