  • The organ in the 'Gereformeerde Kerk' on the Turfmarkt in Gouda was built in 1931 by the Spanjaard company. The facade was designed by the architect Groenendijk, who also designed the church building. The front is largely a decorative front and contains only a few speaking pipes. The organ itself was placed above the pulpit, but the console was placed free-standing on the church floor, between the two entrances, facing the pulpit. After the console had suffered from water due to high water levels in the canal, it was decided to move it to the right gallery.
  • The Fonteijn & Gaal company rebuilt the instrument in 1957. Using the existing material, they modified the action, disposition and internal structure of the organ. A new console was also installed. A Cornet was placed on the main manual, that was taken from the organ in the Oranjekerk in Rotterdam-Hillegersberg. Willem Houtman was the consultant during the work on behalf of the GOV (Reformed Organists Association). The organ was put back into use on August 11, 1957. Even after 1957, registers were renewed.
  • From around 1980 the organ was in poor condition and could hardly be used. However, plans for new construction were not feasible. In 1992, the Nijsse company carried out major maintenance. Various defects were repaired and parts replaced. Yet the organ continued to exhibit malfunctions.
  • The church building was decommissioned in 2003. The farewell service took place on May 25, 2003, at which the organ was played by Anne Prins, Klaas Zijderveld, Wim Griffioen and Jan Hortensius, the four organists of the church. Since then the organ has stood idle and deteriorated even further. After a quick overhaul by Nijsse, a CD was recorded on March 5 and 6, 2004, in which the organ was played by the church's permanent organists. Until August 31, 2005, the congregation rented the church from the new owner, but services were rarely held.
  • In 2006 the instrument was sold to the Crkva Gospe Fatimske in Borovo. The organ was transferred to Croatia in 2006-2008 by the brothers Pero and Franjo Moric from Ilača (Croatia) in collaboration with Slooff Orgelbouw. The facade has been divided in two parts on the new location.
