- In the years 1879-1880, Dalstein-Haerpfer built a new main organ for Luxembourg Cathedral. The instrument had 38 stops, three manuals and pedal. It was dedicated on April 1, 1880. The organ was extensively rebuilt in the years 1928-1930 and expanded to 50 stops by the company Stahlhuth-Haupt.
- Due to a major expansion of the church building in the years 1935-1939, the organ was demolished. A new organ was built for the enlarged church by the Haupt company.
