- The history of the organ in the church of Thuin-Ville-Haute is not entirely clear. The church's old organ was destroyed by rebels in 1794. But the case of this organ may have been preserved. In 1805, Antoine Coppin transferred the organ from Aywières Abbey to Thuin. This was an organ by Sébastien Lachapelle from 1827-1828. But that organ was much larger than the organ in Thuin. It had 24 stops, two manuals and pedal. It is possible that Coppin only used the pipework for the construction of a new interior of the old organ case, or that only the Grand Orgue was installed in Thuin.
- Henri De Volder worked on the organ in 1842. There is pipework with the inscription of De Volder Orgue 44/1842. De Volder also worked on the organ in 1852. Finally, a revision was carried out by Émile Dresse in 1948.
