De Brighton Dome werd gebouwd in 1805, maar was oorspronkelijk bedoeld voor de stallen van de rijpaarden van de Prince Regent. In 1866 is het gebouwd omgebouwd tot een concertzaal. De firma Bryceson plaatste een groot concertorgel. Het orgel is in 1903 door de firma Willis omgebouwd en uitgebreid.
