- The Sint-Annakerk in Stene was built in the seventeenth century. In 1846 the building was expanded with a portal on the tower and the interior was also partially renovated. A new organ was also installed, built by Charles Van Houtte. The instrument was donated to the church by the inhabitants of Bekegem Castle, the noble Merghelynck family.
- The stop list was modified in 1906 by Jules Anneessens. The organ was converted in 1935 by the Loncke company. It has since had two manuals and pedal, pneumatic action and cone chests. The organ case was split into two parts. In fact, the current instrument was built by Loncke with partial material from the previous organ.
