The Église Saint-Louis in Cambrai was built in 1951. The church building replaced an older church from 1909, which was lost during the Second Worldwar on May 10, 1944. For the new church, a second-hand organ was bought in Paris, built by Mutin-Cavaillé-Coll for a private person. The organ was overhauled and transferred by the company Gonzalèz. It has been extended with an independent pedal with three stops, the pipes of which are placed on either side of the organ. The Grand Orgue was expanded with a Montre 8' in the newly created prospect, and the Récit with a Dulciane 8'. Finally, the Bourdon 8' of the Grand Orgue has been replaced by a new and softer one. The organ was dedicated on October 27, 1963, after which Gaston Litaize played the inauguration concert in collaboration with Marc Desbonnets, organist of the Church.
