The Cathédrale Notre-Dame in Créteil was dedicated on September 20, 2015. It is the first cathedral built in France in the 21st century. A second-hand organ was installed in the church, built in 1967 by Curt Schwenkedel for the concert hall of the Association Valentin Haüy in Paris. On March 1, 1967 the instrument was inaugurated with a concert by André Marchal. However, over time it has fallen out of use. It was dismantled in July 2012. The organ was dedicated in the cathedral on October 11, 2015.
