The organ contains older material: Pipes from 1714 by Thomas Swarbrick
Het orgel in Saint Michael's Church in Minehead gaat terug tot het begin van de achttiende eeuw. Het zou gebouwd zijn door Thomas Swarbrick in 1714. In elk geval is het in 1902 door Norman & Beard vernieuwd en in 1910 door dezelfde firma uitgebreid met een Choir Organ. Aan het huidige instrument is niet te zien dat het zo oud is, vermoedelijk is in 1902 enkel oud pijpwerk opnieuw gebruikt.
